Calmness is one of the most important things in life if you want to be successful and happy. When you are stress-free you’re healthy from the inside-out.
There’re a lot of things you can do to stay calm, here a some of them.
Take deep breaths when you have a difficult situation. Feel your breath.
Get in touch with Nature
At least sit near a garden, go to the beach, go camping, do something that makes you feel part of nature. Smell the flowers, feel the water, hear the sound of the wind, the birds, just relax and be still.
Have a simple routine in the morning, it could help you have a better day. When you exercise your body releases endorphins. The benefits are limitless.
Take a walk
This could help you think clear and order your mind.
Have a long bath, this will help you boost your energy and revive hormone production. Cold water will give you energy and warm water will give you a sense of confort, like when someone gives you a hug.

The body needs to sleep to recharge energy and helps to solidify and consolidate memories of the day. Adults between 18-64 years old need to sleep from 7-9 hours. No less than 7, no more than 10. Remember balance is key, sleeping to much isn’t good for your body.
According to research music helps our nervous system by controlling our blood pressure, heartbeat and brain function. Music can also affect our limbic system (the part of the brain that controls feelings and emotion). Don’t hear loud music, try classical, jazz or natural sounds.
It’s really powerful what could a smell do to your mind. Put inciense or candles in your home and work (if you have the opportunity). Our olfactory system is directly linked to the emotional center of our brain, causing a flood of warm feelings with a simple sniff.
Reading can take your mind off things. The topic is not important, just concentrate and let the imagination flow.
Yoga is an ancient Hindu discipline that though the years had changed. There are more than 100 different types of Yoga, but all of them are great for relaxation and stress release.
Meditation is the best thing you can do to clear your mind and organize your thoughts. There’s a lot of ways you can meditate. My favorite is to sit in a silent place and simply focus on my breathing. Just think you’re breathing a clear light and exhaling gray air.
