Trends helps us keep in touch with the latest fashion statements. But as always, I urge everyone to keep their own personal style. Use you’re personality and uniqueness to match and combine trends. This Autumn Trends are based in the compilation and analysis of New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week, Ready to Wear and Haute Couture designer presentations.

Let’s Start!

1

In Autumn one of the top trends is animal print. From leopard to ocelot, zebra, tiger, wild stripes and spots covered the catwalks, exuding power and independence and shameless self-promotion in equal measure. You can use it in details or you can go all the way head-to-toe.

This is one of my favorites. The gloss, high-shine fabrics are key if you want to be on style this season, this means vinyl, latex or plastic. At Balmain (pictured), metallics were created in a vinyl material.

This is were empowerment takes a the spotlight. You can’t blame designers they want to bring this fashion statement. The capes have always been an item of power in films, politics and fashion. Here you can see one of my favorite designers, Elie Saab in the Haute Couture from Paris Fashion Week Autumn – Winter 2018.

I have never been a fan of leather but this fashion statement from Versace made me rethink that. Leather is one of the most dominant of all fabrics this season. You an use it all the way or you can combine your personal style using details in leather.

I was hoping for this one to come, I really like clothes with words and what can be better than the logos. This gives a relax and casual look to the autumn season.
